Despite the mild weather and relatively inexperienced team, the Testconsult crew on Laura gave a fantastic performance at the recent Little Britain Challenge cup in Cowes - coming 11th in the Class 8 fleet of yachts.

Thursday's racing was the most enjoyable with a fair breeze giving a good days sailing, however most excitement was to be had during the the light airs experienced on Friday and Saturday. At times the whole fleet was loosing ground against the tidal flow, but Laura's large sail area enabled her to slip forwards and gain several places on a number occasions.

This event was an opportunity for us to meet with collegues in the constuction industry, for whom this event is exclusively organised. Hopefully we'll be back next year for an even better performance - now we know what to do!
