Testconsult is pleased to announce it's first sale of the advanced SC-XT2000 sonic logging system to Macao.
Gammon Construction took delivery of the SC-XT2000 system in early November, which has been specially produced to comply fully with local requirements. The system will be operated by Gammon Construction in conjunction with Stanger Asia, who already operate sonic logging systems in the region, some previoulsy supplied by Testconsult.
The system was chosen for its advanced analysis and reporting software, it's rugged features and also it's compatibility with older CEBTP cables and transducers. CEBTP has now become an agent for Testconsult foundation testing equipment, since it ceased production of pile testing equipment in early 2007. (see news article on CEBTP agency)
An office and site based training course was given by Huw Williams in Macao, to both Gammon and Stanger Asia engineers, covering the theory of testing, operation of equipment and correct interpretation of results.
