Testconsult UK have recently introduced a new vibration logging system to the range of equipment they sell.

The AXILOG system is designed for moitoring vibration levels on construction sites, buildings and other structures, to identify the risk of damage.Signal processing complies with the Dutch SBR standard, DIN 4150 and BS 5228.

The AXILOG can display real-time Peak Particle Velocities and dominant frequencies in the X, Y and Z planes, with selectable time intervals. A threshold and stop start times can also be set so that only relevant measurements are recorded. The system also has an optional alarm output that is activated if a preset level is exceeded.
