Testconsult, in conjunction with Groundline New Zealand Limited, has recently presented a series of seminars in Wellington and Auckand to the Structural Engineers Society of New Zealand. The subject of the presentations was current foundation testing practices, during which recent testing work in New Zealand was also discussed.

Groundline also exhibited at the 2006 New Zealand Geotechnical society symposium on Earthquakes and Urban development in Nelson on 17th & 18th February 2006. A range of NDT equipment and software analysis methods were presented. The symosium was attended by over 180 Geotechnical Engineers, many of whom expressed an interest in using NDT techniques as a form of quality control.
