The AXILOG is designed for vibration measurements on buildings and other structures in order to quantify the load and determine the risk of damage. The signal processing of the AXILOG complies with the Dutch SBR standard, DIN 4150 and BS 5228. The AXILOG is delivered complete with a calibration certificate from TNO (an independent Dutch research institute for applied scientific research).
The AXILOG system features:
- Logs velocity in X, Y and Z direction
- Data logging threshold
- Data logging start and stop time
- Alarm output
- Continuous reading of the measured values in all directions
- Peak level reading and hold function
- Optional battery powered GSM and GPRS modem available for remote control.
- Geophone sensor comes with calibration certificate
- PC software included and complies with FDA 21CFR11 guideline
- Battery life: 30 days
- Very easy to operate, compact and robust, protection class IP65
- Supplied in strong durable carry case
The AXILOG has 6 large displays that show the real-time velocities and dominant frequencies. The display has a max hold-function. The AXILOG logs X, Y and Z velocities and frequencies with a selectable time interval. To ensure that the memory is filled only relevant measurements, a threshold can be set. Only measured values logged above the threshold are stored. In addition, a start and stop time can be set to carry out logging during working hours and save memory space.
The AXILOG has an optional alarm output that is activated if a preset level is exceeded. The alarm can be set according to the limits described in the standards (SBR, DIN and BS).
During operation, the battery status and percentage of memory used is shown on displays. Keys used to change settings can also be blocked so that it is impossible to inadvertently change settings in the field.
The AXILOG PC software complies with the 21CFR11 guideline of the FDA. This guideline describes how software must handle data to ensure sure that the integrity of the data is guaranteed. The PC software has the following functions:
- Control of AXILOG settings (Remote)
- Read data
- Process data and produce graphs
- Archive data
- Manage data in compliance with 21CFR11
- Real-time viewing of the measured values
