Testconsult operates fully equipped construction materials testing laboratories at Warrington in North West England, Harlow in South East England and in Portlaoise in the Republic of Ireland. From these laboratories, we meet small and large contractors needs across the whole of the UK and Ireland and we also operate satellite site laboratories as and when required.
All our materials testing laboratories operate a UKAS accredited cube testing and collection service throughout their respective regions, with collection vehicles running continuously. Our purpose written computer controlled logging system ensures that cubes are cured in the recommended conditions, crushed at the correct interval and reports are generated automatically. We hire out both 100mm and 150mm cube moulds at competitive rates and can make cubes on site if required.
Our laboratories are fully equipped to provide a one stop shop for all you construction materials testing needs, including soils testing, aggregate testing, bituminous materials testing and concrete testing. Our laboratories are equipped with state of the art fume extraction systems to enable our technicians to work in a safe environment.
Our chemical testing laboratory in Warrington employs specialist chemists to test samples for contaminant in both soils and concrete. Common tests on concrete include chloride ion, sulphate and cement content analysis.
Our materials testing laboratories are complimented by field teams in all our locations, who visit site to carry out Plate Load Tests and CBR tests, using the latest electronic controlled equipment, which can provide results instantly on site, which many of our clients now find invaluable. We also Provide Nuclear Density Testing services to clients, coupled with coring to provide a complete roadway assessment package.
