Testconsult was established in the UK in 1974 and in the early days the company quickly gained a reputation for providing quality foundation testing services using innovative non-destructive techniques. The company has expanded to provide structural condition surveys, instrumentation and monitoring, environmental studies and construction materials testing, both on site and in our UKAS accredited laboratories. Testconsult headquarters are at Warrington in the North West of England and we also operate a full size laboratory at Harlow in the South East of England.

From both these locations we provide specialist testing services to the construction industry across the UK and provide worldwide technical support and service to our agents and clients. Both laboratories are equipped to carry out a wide range of soils, aggregate, bituminous and concrete testing to British and European standards.

 

     

Our foundation testing department is one of the few UK companies to offer the complete range of foundation testing services, including pile integrity testing, dynamic load testing, sonic logging, parallel seismic and static load testing. Our structural investigation departments cover a wide spectrum of work on bridges, buildings, foundations and houses, including: noise and vibration studies, instrumentation and monitoring of structures, condition surveys of buildings and structures, in situ load tests, vehicle barrier assessment and we also hire out noise and vibration monitors.

We specialise in the design and development of corrosion and foundation testing equipment. From our Warrington production facility, we assemble, repair and calibrate a wide range of systems to service a growing list of users in over 35 countries.

As an active member of the DFI we contribute to technical committees and conferences in the USA and Europe. We are also members of the ADSC.  We feel it important to keep our staff up-to-date and well trained and our commitment to Investors in People helps us to do this. Senior staff are also members of the British Institute of NDT.  We are also committed to the safety and wellbeing of our workforce. We are a CHAS accredited contractor and two of our directors are fully NEBOSH certificated to level 3 for Construction. We are also members of the Merseyside and Cheshire Construction Safety Group - "we take safety seriously"
