Testconsult has been providing testing services in Ireland for over 20 years, serving local authorities, consultants, building contractors and road construction companies in Ireland. We provide a fully independent service for testing soils, aggregate, bituminous and concrete material, both on site laboratories and in our Portlaoise laboratory. All testing is carried out to Irish, British and European standards.

The structural testing department carries out pile integrity testing, SIMBAT dynamic load testing, sonic logging, noise and vibration studies, instrumentation and monitoring of structures, condition surveys of bridges buildings and structures, in situ load tests on structures and components and specialises in lift shaft beam assessment. We also hire out noise and vibration monitors.
We are proud of the fact that Testconsult Ireland was the first Irish company to obtain UKAS accreditation for pile integrity testing and PSV testing and Shear Box testing, demonstrating our commitment to providing a quality service.
Senoir staff are members of Engineers Ireland and participate in working GSI working groups. Senior managers are also members of the Institute of Asphalt Technology and on the NSAI Aggregate Consultative Committee. Testconsult Ireland is an Associate Member of the Construction Fixings Association and the Irish Concrete Society.
